What to Expect

First time? Here's a quick guide to navigating your Sunday morning experience.

Entering the Church

Greeters will welcome you in the Lobby. You proceed into the Narthex (entryway) and then the Nave (main sanctuary). You might see people lighting candles or bowing before icons - these are personal acts of prayer.

Children & Families

Families are welcome! We have a cry room with glass windows and speakers at the back if you need semi-privacy while still participating in the service.

During the Service

The service is approximately 90 minutes. It is sung, chanted, and spoken entirely in English. You'll find service books in the pews to follow along.

Coffee Hour

Please don't rush off! After the service, join us in the Cultural Center for coffee, food, and fellowship. It's the best way to meet our community.

Common Questions

Will the Priest meet with me?

Yes! Fr. Michael Nasser would be pleased to meet you. He is usually available during coffee hour after the Liturgy, or you can contact the office to schedule a private meeting during the week.

Can I receive Communion?

Holy Communion is reserved for Orthodox Christians who have prepared themselves through prayer, fasting, and recent confession. However, everyone is invited to receive the Antidoron (Blessed Bread) given at the end of the service as a sign of fellowship.
