Your First Visit
Here's what to expect and how to prepare for your visit to St. Nicholas.
What to Wear
We wear our 'Sunday Best'. Men typically wear suits or dress shirts with pants. Women wear modest dresses, skirts, or suits. Children should dress modestly as well. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
When to Arrive
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early for Sunday services. This gives you time to find parking and get settled before the service begins.
Children Welcome
Children are always welcome in our services! We have a cry room with glass windows and speakers at the back of the church if you need semi-privacy while still participating.
Where to Go
Enter through the main doors into our lobby. Greeters will welcome you and direct you to the Narthex (entryway) and then the Nave (main sanctuary).
Service Length
Sunday Divine Liturgy is approximately 90 minutes. The service is sung, chanted, and spoken entirely in English with service books available in the pews.
Stay for Coffee
Please join us for coffee hour after the service in the Cultural Center. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet our community members and ask questions.
